Nathan… for years we spent 24/7 together. The love and memories I have for you will never be forgotten. You’ve touched my life in ways that words can’t express. The world lost a bright, sensitive, funny, and caring soul and that void will never be filled again. How I wish I could have hugged you one last time. So many things left unsaid. I love you I love you I love you, wherever you are. 

My names Rach and I was in PHP with Nathan. We became close and I been thinking about him a lot since he passed. He always brightened my day when I’d see him. We would talk about stuff together and it felt like he actually cared. Someone please reach out to me. I really want to pay my respects to Nathan. 3309620521

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Nathan, but I came across some books with his name in them that were left in his memory in a little free library and was curious to know more about this fellow sci-fi lover. What a beautiful thing to do in his memory! Thank you for sharing and I will certainly remember him as I read his books and pass them on.

Nathan and my son Jonah started  out as frenemies in grade school and became friends over time. When he  told me of Nathan's passing my heart broke. I have so many good memories of the children and we all have hopes for their futures. We all imagine great things for them and when these dreams are interrupted by a cruel reality it feels to hard to bear. Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for your family in this time of sorrow. He was so lovely.

So many questions and thoughts have run through my mind since Tuesday morning as I’m sure have done the same for others who may be reading this. I was and still am so grateful that you found your way to my daughter when you did and that you were so solid when she needed support. I know that I expressed my gratitude and I hope that you felt how extremely important you were to her, myself, and our family.
A few words that come to mind to describe you: Intelligent, Witty, Bright, Caring, Compassionate, Aware, Patient, Droll, Responsive, Sensitive, and Good.
The inevitable “could I have done more” questions have come to mind as they always do when you are shocked into the reality of someone you care for leaving this earth and there are no excuses that suffice; the answer is yes, always yes. We can forever do more to show our appreciation and support. I think you were well aware of that, my friend. I saw it in your actions and the way you interacted with the people I care for.
The final thing I want to say is that I believe everything in our soul is governed by the opposing forces of good and evil; there are a multitude of explanations, religions, dogmas, writings on morality, science-fiction phantasy novels, etcetera. But the only way I can accept the fact that a good person can be taken from our lives too soon, or that they have to be relentlessly overwhelmed by something such as an addiction is that the evil sees their positive actions and potential and brings its full force to bear or there is a higher purpose for them somewhere in the cosmos and it is time to go serve it. Either way it is a testament to your character.


You are so loved Nathan!  We will cherish the memories we were so blessed to create with you & will miss you always 💕

I spoke to Bill this afternoon and he told me about your son, Nathan.  I am so sorry for your loss.  It is my loss that I didn't get to know him, and that I have not stayed in contact with you and your family.  The years and distance just get in the way.  I am not on Facebook, but Bill is which is how Carolyn got in touch with him.  I don't think that there is anything I can say do help ease your pain, but just know that you and your family are in my prayers at this worst of times.
If there is anything I can do, please ask. Going forward, I will do better to stay in touch.  My best to all your family.
