

Norman Leonard Landau, 97, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 27, 2025. Born on August 24, 1927, to Albert and Lillian Landau, Norman lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to family, business, and personal passions.
He was the founder and CEO of Valu-Mart stores and was known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. Norman had a deep love for golf and was a past member of both Hawthorne Valley Country Club and Lake Forest Country Club. He embraced life to the fullest—enjoying meals with his family and cherishing every moment spent with family and friends.
Norman is survived by his beloved children, Lori Fox (Jeffrey) and Bruce Landau (Cecilia); his adored grandchildren, Ryan (Angie) Fox, Kelly Landau, and Chad Landau; and his treasured great-grandchildren, Lexi Fox (Gabe), Hayden Fox, and Adleigh Landau. Norman is also survived by his cherished and long time Sweetheart Laura Goldstein Wallenstein. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife; Geraldine Jaffe Landau and his brother, Ronald Landau (Sandy). The family would also like to give thanks to their Caregiver Deloris Collins, who has been with the family for many years.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mayfield Cemetery in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
Norman’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
The family will receive friends at Point East Party Room 27500 Cedar Road Beachwood, OH following the service till 4PM and again 6-9PM and Tuesday 6-9PM.
