Patricia Morrison

May 7, 1940 - November 27, 2025

Patricia “Patsy” Morrison (nee Shapiro), passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025.

Born on May 7, 1940, Patsy was the beloved wife of Harvey (deceased); loving mother of Marc Morrison and Jodi Morrison, cherished aunt, great aunt, devoted teacher and friend to everyone. She was the beloved daughter of Kate and Simon Shapiro.

Patsy was a dedicated and active alumnus of the University of Michigan, having graduated in 1960 with degrees in French and History.

She enjoyed a long teaching career that began in Ann Arbor, and later held positions in the CHUH school district, and at Beachwood High School. Patsy was proud to be the advisor to The Oculus, Beachwood’s year book which won many awards under her direction.

Patsy loved to laugh, socialize, cheer on her dear UofM and share her stories. She had an impact on everyone she touched and will be missed.

A Graveside service will be held Sunday November 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Cemetery inside the Chapel in the office of Mt.Olive Cemetery

Following Services, Family will sit shiva from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. At The Blair House, 19601 Van Aken Blvd (Apt P1), Shaker Heights, OH 44122.
