(Jean). He is survived by an extended loving family including daughter Julie Blantern (Nick), Eric Polster and Jason Polster (Christina). Paul adored his eight grandchildren and always showered them with love and affection: Alexis (Sam), Kaylee, Logan, Mackenna, Noa, Grace, Charlotte and Emmarie. He considered his children and their families his finest accomplishment. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Coco.
Paul called Cleveland home and lived his life in the East Side suburbs. He began at Brush High School and then graduated from Cleveland Heights High. He attended Miami University before enlisting in the Marine Corps, advancing to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He spent the majority of his four years in Vietnam, and was proud to serve his country during those difficult times. In later years Paul reconnected with many of his fellow Marines. Upon discharge he returned to Cleveland and began a long career as a tool and die maker. Paul had a photographic memory and an encyclopedic knowledge on many subjects. He embraced his Jewish heritage and his many connections in the community to family and friends, from Rowland Elementary School to wrestling at Brush and Cleveland Heights. He was a generous neighbor, providing rides and other assistance. His biggest pride and joy was his family and his love for them would fill the room.
