Phyllis D. Cohen

(nee Danowitz), born on July 2, 1934 in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Jeanette Goodman Danowitz and Irwin I Danowitz, passed away at age 84 on November 23, 2018 in Cleveland. Dearly beloved wife of 62 years of Dr. Sidney M Cohen; devoted mother of Marcia (Craig) Cohen, Gayle (David) Bailys and Susanne Cohen; cherished grandmother of Jeremy ( Lindsey) Bailys and Richard Bailys. Sister of Paige ( Lynn Hernley) Danowitz ), Barbara (Ron) Nagel , and sister-in-law Rona (Kent) Talcott . She leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends. Beloved daughter in-law to the late David and Frances Cohen and sister-in-law to Harold Cohen, of blessed memory. Her greatest joy was to entertain family and friends with food and flowers. Friends were family and she loved nothing more than her family. Services will be held Monday, November 26 at the Kesher Israel Cemetery in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Family will receive friends at Wiggins Place, 27070 Cedar Road. Beachwood, Ohio 44122. Tuesday, November 27 through Thursday, November 29, 1-4pm and 7-9pm and Saturday, December 1, 7-9pm.
