Phyllis M. Green, 96, passed away on February 22 in Bradenton, Florida. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she retired to Sarasota, Florida, from Shaker Heights, Ohio, in 1987. A proud graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, she furthered her education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Phyllis was actively involved in numerous organizations, including Hadassah, Women’s American ORT, the National Council of Jewish Women, the West Coast Women’s Symphony Association, Brandeis University Women’s Committee, and the American Businesswomen’s Association.
She built a career as a real estate broker in both Cleveland and Sarasota.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Nancy K. Green (Robert Scott Sherrer) and was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, and her daughter, Dianne (Korin) Green.
Private funeral services were held at Mayfield Cemetery.
Arrangements were made under the supervision of Berkowitz Kumin Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
