Dearest Archie and the entire Leizman family. I would like to express my sincerest condolences on the passing of Reva Leizman. I pray the fond memories offer you comfort at this time of sorrow.

Reva was a dear friend and colleague of my mother, Esther Fallenberg Mesnick, when they taught a  French immersion class at Coventry School. Although Reva was even younger than I, my mother enjoyed her "young" friends, and they enjoyed her.  Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I was crushed to read that Reva had passed away.   Reba was a huge joy in my life as was her devotion and love to her beloved cats.  I have never known anyone so wonderful and kind.  There will never be another person  as warm and caring as Reva,  and my heart breaks for your entire family.

Reva was beautiful inside and out. She will live on in the good deeds she always inspired in others. My condolences to the entire Leizman family. 

   We were saddened to hear of Reva's passing.  We feel fortunate to have known her.  She was a sweet and lovely person.  Reva will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  Our deepest condolences to Archie and family.

To Revas dear family, 
We lived next to you and Archie for a long time. Reva was a great neighbor, friend and colleague. We were blessed to have her as a neighbor and I was honored to teach with her for years at the high school. She always had time to talk or bring us a treat. She was a dear sweet person. One of my funniest memories was they had moved away a few years back and Reva and Archie were at a restaurant. We hadn’t seen each other for a while and they didn’t recognize us. I sat down next to Reva as she was talking to the Friends they were with. I just sat next to her staring at her, she got really flustered until she recognized it was her old neighbor of many decades. It was such an endearing moment. After her initial anger that this stranger sat next to her and was staring at her she just beamed and laughed at seeing us again. God bless. 

Dear Archie and family,
I was very sad to learn of Reva’s passing today. She was such a kind and gentle colleague! While I taught French at Roxboro Middle School, Reva taught
French at Heights High. Reva and Claire both taught my daughter, Jessica Humbert-Long. When Claire retired, it was my honor to teach at the High School with Reva. I appreciated and enjoyed working with her, and when she retired, we had a small dinner with other foreign language teachers at my house.

Reva will be missed by so many. I send my 
condolences to you all at this sad time.

Dear Leizman Family,

Reva was one of the warmest and most generous people I knew.   What a wonderful neighbor and friend. I loved babysitting for Danny Amy & Jonathan. They were terrific kids but mostly, babysitting was an opportunity to chat with Reva, who was always interested in catching up and hearing about my life. 
She was most giving! We often came home from vacation with our fridge stocked with food from Reva. 
I am sending love and thoughts to the Leizman family!

Reva co-taught a class at Siegel College many years ago on Philip Roth.  She was so inspiring,  We bonded over our love for his artistry and for the kind of ornery, difficult but brilliant man that he was.  I re-read Roth often, but never without remembering Reva’s teachings.  Her memory is blessed.  Jeannie
