Dear Elayne and Family:  I am so sad for your suffering.  It was clear to anyone who knew Dick how he loved his family, and how that love was returned. Your family was such a model for so many, including me.  I will always remember his gentle nature, soft voice and kindness. You and Dick were the door to your family that was always open for friendship or holidays.  I always felt like a pseudo-family member and was so happy to share many happy times at your beautiful home with your beautiful family.  While he is no longer here in person, I know his spirit lives in so many!!  His memory is clear and so genuine, as he was.  I grieve for you and with you.  Dick was a beautiful and wonderful man.  Thank you for letting me share your lives for so long.  Robert and I send our deepest sympathy.

Dear Glueck family,
As someone said no one should have to go through what your family has gone through. I wasn't lucky enough to know Scott but was lucky enough to know Mr. Glueck. His smile always made me smile. His gentleness, genuine being, and love for his family emanated from him at all times. Yes, he did make everyone he saw feel special. That sparkle in his eyes. Thank you for being a part of so many of our childhoods and being lifelong friends of our parents. My dad, Joe Gellin, adored you and I know along with so many others hates to think of a world without you.

I just learned the sad news about Dick and wanted to express my sympathies. I have such wonderful memories of his ready smile, and soft spoken encouraging works he would offer so readily and consistently. He always made me feel like a million dollars as a young kid visiting your wonderful home on Cedar Road. I know Steve and my late Mom and Dad felt the same way about Dick. My love to all.

My memories go back to the mid '40's, even before I married his cousin, Jim.
I could fill a book with all the shared wonderful times on vacations, at family events and just the four of us.  Through thick and thin, we have always been there for each other.  Dick was so lovable with his super sense of humor, genuine sincerity and easy going attitude, endearing himself to everyone who knew him.  To know him was to love him.

Dick meant a lot to me. He was my mentor when i first came into the business in 1960. Sort of took me under his wing & taught me everything which helped me through the years
He was the best & I will miss him
