Robert had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the string bass as a founding member of Lost Bob and the Ozone Ramblers. He also loved playing darts and spending time with his friends, creating lasting memories through the years, enjoying the Browns and Guardians, and University of Wisconsin football.
He is survived by his beloved son, Andrew Kaplan (Molly), and two cherished nieces, Krista Brown and Kelsey Dailey.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Linda.
