Bobby, I am so sorry you're gone. You were a wonderful person and I enjoyed every moment I shared with you. May God continue to watch over you until we meet again.

Joanie, my heart goes out to you, Debra and Bruce.  I am so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. The 2nd verse of one of our hymns comes to my mind for you:   
God be with you till we meet again;
When life's perils thick confound you,
Put his arms unfailing round you.

I go way back in my knowing Bobby and you, Joan.  I was one of Bobby's first teachers at Metzenbaum Center in Geauga County.  What a wonderful memory of him and you.  I saw the notice in the Plain Dealer, and thought, "that has got to be the Bobby I knew long ago"...He died the same week George Clemens(the then Superintendent of Metz. passed on). I would have never thought that when  when we had breakfast and you asked me would I be there tomorrow it would be the last day I would see you I have been with you since 1987 You will be truly missed. BB Light! Be like Bobby Light,I would tell him. He had an intuition that let him know just when you needed him. I knew Bobby since 1992, at PVA and then later the EAAC. There was a balance between what I helped Bobby do and how he helped me. He had a few  statements he made everyday. Not randomly or routinely, but as his way of checking in. And, if you were having a bad day,he knew,he would put his hand on your shoulder,make sure you were looking at him, and give you a chuckle. Always made me feel better. Peace BB Light.

I was so hurt and shocked when I received the call concerning Bobby. I had Bobby for 13 years between Main Campus and Richmond House. I was instrumental in much of his silly behavior.
When I would come every Nov 19th Bobby and I would still have to have our "conversations".

Dear Joan, Debra and Bruce, I was shocked when Bruce called about Bobby. So sorry. Barbara and Bobby

Had the pleasure of taking care of Bobby at Richmond house for 3 years...and would see him at social events.
To me Bobby was like the Pillsbury dough boy...a tickle to his stomach would produce a loving giggle.
Or...sometimes a sailors cussing.
Always asked me if today was a "Howiday?"

I could go on and on...May his memory be a blessing.
