He is survived by his wife of 57 Years, Linda and was the loving father of Benjamin, who died in 2002.
Bob was born in Cleveland and graduated with honors from local schools and from what was then called Western Reserve University. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and had a career as a librarian in private and public libraries.
He will be remembered for his love of family, of travel, and for his deep cultural interests, which included classical music, opera, art, and literature.
Funeral arrangements were private.
Family requests no visitation.
