Family will receive friends at the residence of Lauren and Jeffrey Sonkin 293 N. Cleveland St. Chagrin Falls, OH. TUESDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 6:30PM

Roger graduated from Colgate University in 1962. He was a member of the Colgate 13, an esteemed men’s singing group which sang all over the country and appeared on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand. He was a practicing attorney for over 60 years.

Roger was a long-time resident of Chagrin Falls and advocated for the establishment of the Centerville Mills Dog Park in Bainbridge.

Roger was an avid animal lover. He loved horseback riding and in his later years, spent innumerable hours volunteering at Hillcrest Hospital and Arden Court Memory Care with his constant companion and therapy dog Sunny. Roger had a love of life and love of people. He maintained treasured friendships from his early years at Wiley Junior High and University School that lasted a lifetime. Roger’s greatest joy was his family. He valued time spent with his daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren above all else.
