I was sorry to hear of Roman’s passing.   He was always so warm, caring and friendly at Temple.   When I told my mother about Roman, she was sad also and said he was such a nice person.  May all of you find comfort in the care and concern of others.

Mel and I were sad to hear of Roman's passing. He excelled at teaching Holocaust education. His impact was great in the Jewish and Christian community. Mel and I played in a bridge group with he and Elaine for 15 years. Lots of fond memories. Our condolences to the entire Frayman family.  He exemplified a life well lived.

Roman was God’s gift to our temple. He taught holocaust to young people with such a passion that the students loved his class the most, even though it was about such an overwhelmingly, sad subject. Even my children loved his classes more than mine. And I was teaching rock ‘n’ roll, and theater with my best friend Michael Segal, who also passed away. The three of us off and Seth together before and after Sunday school. And shared many funny and sad and exciting stories about our students and each other. I was looking forward to my students interviewing him this coming semester I will find a way to pass along this tremendous man’s history to my students this year.

So sorry to hear of Roman's passing! Roman and I share alot of fond memories! It is ALWAYS so very sad when a cherished, wonderfully-hearted family member passes. Of course, Cousin Roman will ALWAYS be most remembered for his contribution to Holocaust education.

We only knew Roman as a neighbor, but he was a friendly, optimistic, delightful man who we always enjoyed talking to when we were out walking.  We were saddened to find out that he and Elaine had moved away.  Our deepest sympathies to Elaine and the family. If you look up the word mensch  in the dictionary, you will find Roman Frayman’s name. He was kind, bright, compassionate, his smile lit up room, he gave the best hugs, and was very good looking.

I was so privileged to have him as a friend. He enhanced the lives of so many people.

Moe and I were very sad to hear about Roman. Moe remembers that he was the first to meet and welcome Roman to the United States.

So sorry to hear of Roman's passing. He was a fantastic religious school teacher whom my peers and I absolutely adored during Hebrew school in the early 2000s. I loved seeing him around Beachwood after he was my teacher and getting to catch up with him, and was always so touched that he remembered exactly who I was.
