Ronnie H. Abrams

Bride of Milton B Abrams (z”l), mother of JodiLyn Abrams Solomon and Dr. Scott Abrams (Rabbi Diana Miller), grandmother of Micah Eisen (Madison), Rose Solomon, and Elias Max Miller Abrams, sister of Gary David Zeid (Katie) and Ronna Sherman (Ira, z”l).

Ronnie and Milt started out as BBYO advisors in their 20s - Ronnie was always big on volunteering. She volunteered at Westwood Elementary and West Geauga Middle School when her children were there. Ronnie was also very active in the AFS program, hosting three students from around the world. She was also active in Junior Child Care for many years.

Ronnie worked at Muscular Dystrophy, and Lawson Ford and Mercury, the Abrams’ car dealership until it was sold due to Milt’s health. After retiring, Ronnie and Milt travelled for twenty years in their RV, enjoying driving it to Alaska twice, all over the United States, Canada, and into the interior of Mexico. Alaska and Newfoundland, Canada were Ronnie’s favorites.

Ronnie was a fierce advocate for her children and others all the way through school, and a role model after that. She helped her grandchildren learn that her favorite vegetable was chocolate, a bean. She is looking forward to rejoining her Maj group in the beyond.

Ronnie liked good times and fun. She would prefer you not mourn, but celebrate the fun memories.

Ronnie requested that donations made in her memory be made to Camp Lilac.Org as it was an important cause for her.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday April 23 At 11:00 AM at Mt.Olive Cemetery 7855 Aurora Rd, Solon, OH 44139

Family will be sitting shiva following services at 200 Quail Roost Mayfield Ohio 44124 until 5 and then 6-8 Thursday from 11-5 and 6-8 and Friday From 11-6
