She was a survivor of the Holocaust, and came to Cleveland with her husband, Max Kay, (Moses Krzepicki), and two oldest children on January 3, 1952.
Sara was married for 53 years to her husband, Max Kay (deceased). Her children were Dr. William Kay, Dr. Marsha Kay, and Abraham Kay (Bonnie deceased). Her grandchildren are Dr. Ethan Kay (Sarika Bansal),Alana Kay (deceased), Dr. Benjamin Kay (Dr. Amanda Zerkel), and Samuel Kay.
Services will be at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz, 1985 South Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 3:30 pm.
Internment at Bet Olam Cemetery, Taylor Road Section Section C.
Shiva will be at 3987 West Meadow Lane, Orange Village, Ohio, Sunday following services, and Monday through Thursday, 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. On Friday, November 1, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Shiva will be held at Wiggins Place, 27070 Cedar Road, Beachwood, Ohio.
