SERENE G. SHAPER (nee Goulder), 85, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2016. Beloved daughter of the late Adolph "Putty" and Irene Goulder. Beloved mother of Thomas, David (Amy), Teddy and Muffin (deceased). Loving sister of Edmund (Joan), Rose (Melvin, deceased) Rubin, Elise (Doovy, deceased) Kirschenbaum, Herbert (Terry, deceased) and the late Morton (Claire), Albert (Judy) Goulder. Friend and aunt to many. Loyal employee of the Doan Electric Company, and the only one of her siblings to letter at Shaker High. Services will be held Wednesday, August 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH. Family will receive at the residence, 6525 Chagrin River Rd., Chagrin Falls, OH, MONDAY, AUGUST 15, 4 P.M.-9 P.M. AND IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 8 P.M.
