Sylvia's life focused on three things - her family, the Jewish community, and Israel. She had tremendous energy and was beloved by her caregivers these past few years for being fun, loving activities, dancing (even with a walker), and her kindness. She and Mike had three sons (Zvi and Julie Leshem, David and Susan Blain, Daniel Blain and Miriam Rosenberg), as well as 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren who deeply loved their Savta.
Sylvia was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth Moser and Harold Kramer, and her sister, Nancy Walsh.
She worked for many years as the Administrator at the Hasten Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis, where she pretty much did everything other than drive the bus. She and Mike loved all things Jewish, and were seemingly at every service, meeting, and event. They relished their many trips to Israel to see family and on behalf of Israel Bonds.
