Carmen ,was,an, inspiration to me she got up kept herself busy always on the move I said wow I want to be like her you know I really like Carmen she was sweet inside and and out, rest in peace also rest in heaven .The LORD took an angel home to rest.ill miss you!!!!

Community Garden my Mom worked diligently to get funded, in 2012 and maintained it every year there after, for the residents of Kirby Manor. So the residentes had an activity to get them out of their apartments, she gave them purpose, an out door activity, and fresh fruit and vegetables. 

She also organized game nights, craft nights, monthly birthday parties, Community dinners for all the residents at Kirby Manor. Computer training. She also picked up groceries for her neighbors who couldn’t  leave their apartments.  She wanted everyone to be seen and heard and felt loved and appreciated. 

Freshlink, One of the many organizations my mom helped with to bring food and nutrition to her community. 

So sorry Clara for the loss of your precious mom , I know how much you loved her . Life will go on but it will not be the same without the tender , loving and selfless parents but we have faith we are going to see them again and reunite in heaven where there is no more pain  or suffering. May God gives you peace that surpasses all understanding

Thank you- Carmen for all you did for Hispanic community you will be deeply missed. I love you and thank you for always thinking of me and mines. I remember in 2015 when you was Senior of the year, Matt Zone said You was the best.

My dear Sister Carmin, how much I going to miss you. You always was a self less, caring person who always showed how much you loved me!  Since childhood to adulthood, you confronted many challenges but always got up!  I going to miss your hugs, kisses, and love you game although in the latter days we did not see each other because of distance.  My last memory of you was 3 years ago with out brother Wilson!  The happiness that I felt in my heart was immense in which Wanda and I share the love of Christ and the Gospel to you and my brother.  Until we meet in heaven!  Your dear brother ‘Cayito’ as every loveone called me.   From our Family Melendez-Planadeball our condolences for my nephews and nieces, Sammy, Glory, Clara Vannesa, and Frankie. God Bless you all!  

I was privileged to partner with Carmen when we were promoting the SNAP Progam through CWRU Healthy eating initiative. Carmen was fun loving and generous, always working to help those in need. Her special passion was the garden at Kirby Manor where she lived. She was always raising funding to expand the variety of flowers and vegetables available to her fellow tenants. Carmen can finally rest now from her many years of hard work.
