April 27, 1939 – August 26, 2025
Carol Ann Pinson, beloved daughter of the late Affie L. Allen, was born on April 27, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio. On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Carol was called home to a place of peace, joy, and eternal rest, where her soul is now safe and free with God.
Carol was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her brother Ira Allen and sister Iris Allen, and is survived by her loving sister Barbara Furgerson.
She was united in marriage to the late James Pinson, and together they shared a life filled with love and family. From this union came two sons, Darryl Pinson (deceased) and Nelson Stokes (Lornette), and three daughters: Michelle Pinson, Deidra Pinson, and Debra Pinson. She also embraced her stepson, Ronald Sapp (Cathy), as her own.
Carol's legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, three cherished bonus grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who adored her.
She retired from General Motors in 1992, after many years of dedicated service. Known for her straight-shooting honesty and expressive personality, Carol had a “tell it like it is” spirit that made her unforgettable. Her love for cooking was unmatched—she was truly a whiz in the kitchen. She also enjoyed watching sports and never missed a good western movie.
Carol lived a full life marked by love, laughter, and resilience. Her warmth, strength, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
