Charles is survived by three sisters: Sarah Watson (Vernon), Alberta Johnson (Otis) and Minnie Bonds. One sister, Bobbie Jean Stinson preceded him in death. He is also survived by two brothers: Tommy Bonds and James Griffin.
He was blessed with three sons, Charles King (Serina), Dominic King (Tiffany), and Torey King (Lakoye). He leaves behind two grandchildren, Kaileigh King and Torey Jayden King. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
Charles was known affectionately by his sons as the “Old Man”. He lived his earlier years in Memphis, Tennessee but spent most of his life in Cleveland, Ohio. Charles loved baseball, good food and his family.
On December 22, 2021 Charles L. Kelly fell asleep in death where he now awaits his promise of the resurrection. He leaves a legacy of love to all of his friends and family and will be truly missed.
