

Crucita was born May 3, 1947 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Ramon Ortiz Acosta and Celia Feijoo Baez. She is the beloved mother of Yanira Santini (William Concepcion), Lynnette Santini-Benson (Larry Benson), Carlos Santini (Ashley Santini), Jessica Lariccia (Andrew Lariccia) and Alicia Jiminian (Jimmy Jiminian); cherished grandmother of Yanira Jazmin, Kristina, Alyssa, Cierra, Carlos Marcel, Yamila, Amar'e, Eli, Mateo and Jovanni and great-grandmother of Bailey, Attalaya, Lillia and baby Joziah; dear sister of the late Blanca Ortiz (Miguel Torres); dear aunt of many.
She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a BS in Business Administration. While in Puerto Rico she was employed with the government. She moved to the US where she devoted her life to education, teaching through the Cleveland public school system. Crucita dedicated her time to the Cleveland Hispanic community, by helping others with employment and social services. She was very involved with the Puerto Rican Friendly Parade in Cleveland for many years. She was a caring, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Crucita will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44102. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel, 3114 Scranton Rd, Cleveland, Ohio. A committal service will occur Monday, December 20, 2021 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH.
