He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 16, 1958, to Robert and Jaqueline Miller (Phare). Dale was the fourth of eight children. He is survived by his wife, Bess Miller, his sons Bryon and Derek, his grandchildren Onon, Ruby, Nora, Amber and Kane, and his siblings Robin, Jackie, Jon, Jenni, and Jami. Dale was predeceased by his parents, his siblings Vicki, Robert Jr., Dennis (twin) and Jody and by his beloved son Ted. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and a worldwide spiritual congregation of brothers and sisters.
A lifelong resident of Ohio, Dale was known as a skilled carpenter. He worked for many years as a commercial carpenter in and around the city of Cleveland. Dale loved outdoor activities such as fishing, golfing, and camping. He also enjoyed spending time with his family on vacations to Canada, Maine, and many US beaches. Each time he would carefully collect rocks to bring home for his prized rock collection.
Dale loved his family and had a close relationship with his God, Jehovah. He put his hope and trust in God’s promise at Job 14:15, “You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.” He knew he would be reunited with his loved ones again. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2PM.
