Donald C. Durfee, Private First Class United States Army, , assigned to M Company, 3d Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, was Killed in Action on 2 Dec 1950 near the Chosin Reservoir in North Korea. PFC Durfee’s remains were returned during Operation Glory in 1954 and later interred as an Unknown in the National Military Cemetery of the Pacific. He was then later Identified on November 5, 2013. The repatriation and welcoming home of PFC Durfee will be March 4, 2014 with Full military honors after 64 years.
