

He was the second eldest of three sons born to Franklin Delano Sr. and
Marlene Jones. Wayne grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where he attended
Cleveland Public Schools.
Wayne went to work for his family’s company business Miller Movers for a
short period of time, he moved on to Vital Products making caulking guns,
meanwhile he became a self painting contractor which he loved doing.
Wayne met Shafurn Tufts in 1987 and two years later on July 30, they had
Dwayne Anthony Jones Jr. (DJ).
Dwayne Anthony Jones Sr. upon the confession of faith was baptized by
Prophetic Countdown in Cleveland, Ohio on September 21, 1997.
In 2011 he joined Olivet Institutional Baptist Church.
Wayne loved his family and friends, he enjoyed dressing nice, being a ladies
man, a gentleman and the nature of women. He always was out spoken and
never bagged down to anyone. He loved dancing, singing, music, boxing,
sports, shooting pool, living weights and cracking jokes as his last days on
his journey he said, “Pimp Down” as he laughed.
Dwayne went to be reunited with his eldest brother Franklin DeLano Jones
Jr., one aunt Gloria J. Miller Smith, grandparents: Jessie and Ida Jones, John
Henry Miller and Anna Pearl Moon, five cousins: Delores Thomas, Yvonne
Cheryl Smart, Kenneth Moore, Donna Jean Thomas, Arthur Thomas, Damien Smart and
a host of uncles and aunts.
Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, one son Dwayne Anthony Jones Jr.
(Evanna), parents: Franklin Delano Sr. and Marlene Jones, one brother
Mark Jones, one God-brother Kelly Pipkins, one grandson Hendrix
Aiden Jones (G-Dad’s Henny), one aunt Faye Forrest, one uncle Marvin
(Jacqueline) Miller, one great aunt Blythe (Percy) Davis, five nieces: Carol
(London), Keosha, Chavon (Andre), Shuntia and Anna, nine great nieces
and nephews, five cousins who he grew up with like brothers and sisters:
Anthony Glover, Lynn Moon, Jacqueline Smith, Philip Thomas Sr., Albert
Moon Jr.,and his companion Constance Jones and a plethora of loving family and friends.
