Elbert Lewis Wright

the late Sara and Scesrell Wright.

Elbert found God later in life and joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist

Church where he was baptized.

Elbert later joined Everlasting Baptist Church where he remained until his

death. He received his education in West Virginia.

Elbert was employed at George Worthington until their closing and then

worked at Cook Paint and Furnish until his retirement.

He also served in the US Military. Elbert enjoyed sports, collecting rare

coins and listing to music.

Elbert met his wife Jewell (deceased) in 1965 and their union lasted over

fifty years.

Elbert departed this life on January 23, 2022. He leaves to mourn a sister

Laureen Wright, four daughters Cynthia Jimmison (Tyrone), Pamela Steele

(Alfonzo deceased), Sherry Greathouse (Theodore), Rashonna Levett

(Kevin) and one son Ronald Patterson (deceased). Seven grandchildren

Kevin, Tyrone, Tommie, Theodore Jr., Melisa, Keonna and Kasey. Nine

Great-Grandchildren Jealon, Maurice, Janea, DayVonne, Little Kevin,

Taylor, Ayden, William the 5th and Julian Jr.

Elbert was preceded in death by two brothers Scesrell (Alberstine), Carl

and three sisters Ellen, Geraldine and Hildred.
