Elena Turc, age 84. Devoted wife of Iosif (deceased). Beloved mother of Marinela Turc Convery, M.D. (Patrick Convery, M.D.) and Adrian, M.D. (deceased). Loving grandmother and great-grandmother of: Kristen and Ted Klecker, Esq. (Jack); Ellen, M.D. and Thomas Wurm (Emma and Tommy); Matthew, Esq. and Lauren Convery (Weston, Nora, and Frederick); Steven Convery; and Mirela, Esq. and Daniel Rudary, Esq. (Joseph, Adriana, and Nicholas).

Mama Elena was the matriarch of the family, whose love and devotion to her family was evident every day through her strong personal faith and generosity, the many lessons she taught, the way she played with her great-grandchildren, and her incredible Romanian cooking. According to all the kids, she made the best soup. Bunica will be greatly missed, but lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will take place on June 29, 2023, Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Ave., Cleveland OH 44102. Saracusta Service Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service and burial Friday at 11 a.m. at Dormition of the Mother of God Monastery in Rives Junction, MI.
