Elizabeth Ann Bradley lovingly known as Beth passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio after a long and courageous battle with multiple medical challenges. She was 78 years old.
Born on December 30 of 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. Elizabeth was a beloved daughter of the late Shelton Galloway and Thelma Robinson Galloway. She received her education through the Cleveland Public School system, and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age at the historical Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her unwavering faith provided her comfort throughout her life and sustained her through her illnesses.
She dedicated over three decades of her life to the Cleveland Postal Service, where she was known for her strong work ethics and professionalism. She retired in 1998.
On October 2, 1965 Elizabeth married Curtis Bradley, and this union produced four children. Eric, Irene, Scott, and Curtis II. Her oldest Eric preceded her in death in February 2024.
A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and Aunt, very much family oriented, Beth’s greatest joy came from spending time with family members and friends. Beth was a praying woman and always strong and committed to her faith. She always made a point to share her Bible and beliefs with others and help them in their spiritual journeys along the way.
Beth had many passions that enriched both her life and the lives of those around her. Her crochet skills (self taught) were impressive and she crafted many beautiful items for herself and others with care and creativity. She also loved making jewelry, puzzles, reading and many arts and crafts projects.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Thelma, siblings Kay, Shelton Jr. and Saundra, great grandsons Jayden Bradley, and Donavin Gallegos and niece Kizzy Cleveland. She is survived by her sister Robyne Chunn.
She leaves behind her legacy, cherished by many; her children, Irene Collins (Thomas) of Columbus, OH; Scott Bradley (Freida Mathews) of Cleveland, OH; Curtis Bradley II (Cheeri Nettles) of Euclid, OH; grandchildren, Maria Jackson (Phil), Thomas Collins III (Ciera), Tomia Collins, Bradley Collins (Kaylah), Tanesha Bradley (Brian, Gaston), Scott Bradley Jr. (Jasmine), Dana Bradley, Curtis Bradley III, Christopher Bradley, Christine Jackson, Cortez Bradley, Camille Bradley, Cheyenne Bradley, Aiden Bradley, Ivory Bradley, and Deanna Bradley; step-grandchildren, Elijah Nettles , Alyssa Nettles, and Aaliyah Nettles; great-grandchildren Jordan Gallegos, Carsyn Collins, Zoa Collins, Makayla Collins, Myah Collins, JaNiyah Carthon, Davone Carthon Jr., JayLen Bradley, Christian, Madison, Kamyrn, Caleb, Armonii Jackson, Octavia Jackson, Hezekiah Jackson, Jaylon Jackson, Ezra Bradley, Riley; Nieces Shannon Scott (Keith), Tarah Price, Elashia McWilliams(Tommy), Sheryl Mays, Cheryl Brent, Samantha Lusk-Brown and Shanti Dickson, as well as great-nieces Shauna, Patrice, Shilevya, La’de’shanae, Jazmine, Aisha, Takiya, and great-nephews, Michael (Stella), Dwayne, Deshawn, Antonio, Brandon, Jermaine, Elwood, Elijah, Craig, Chris, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
She will also be remembered by dear and long time friend Vivian Hairston-Hall of which she had a special bond since 1968. Friends Marcia Jackson, Tom & Ann Collins, and Sister-in-law Jessica Davis.
A celebration of Beth’s life will be held to honor the remarkable loving woman she was whose faith never wavered. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
