Frederick T Houston

He was an only child born to the late Rubystein Pendarvis and the late

Tyus Houston.

Fred attended the Cleveland Public School System. He was a graduate of

East Technical High School.

Fred proudly served in the United States Navy, where he received an

Honorable Discharge on August 17, 1987.

Fred accepted Christ at an early age. He was a long time member of the

Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor

Alvin T. Jones. He was a faithful. Member of the Gospel Echoes Choir and

the Male Chorus.

Fred was employed by the City of Cleveland until a brief decline in his

health and he could no longer work. Frederick transitioned from labor to

reward on May 10, 2021 at his home.

Fred leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Kalisha Stockdale,

loving cousins: Morlon Henry (Diane) of Dallas, Georgia, Mary Henry,

Denise Henry, Dwight Henry (Brenda) and Devon Settles (Sylvia) all of

Cleveland, Ohio, three God-daughters: Linda Howard, Carolyn Terry and

India Taylor, brother / friend Michael Bennifield, special friend Malisa
