Freddie Walker, Jr. was the third child born to Beverly J. and Frederick Walker, Sr. on May 18,1975, in Cleveland, Ohio. One sister, Kamal Walker preceded “Lil Fred” in death.
Despite circumstances very early in his life that altered his early life, Freddie was a good person. He believed in God; was a hard-working guy with a great sense of humor, who loved his family. Fred was intelligent, loved playing chess and dismantling things, just so he could try to put them back together! He was an avid lover of cars and, at a young age, was a gifted skateboarder: performing stunts most had never seen before. Fred’s presence and his inviting smile is what his family will miss the most. He
had a good heart, he was kind, and he could be quite stubborn.
Despite everything, Fred’s life is worth remembering and celebrating! We pray that the legacy he leaves his family, especially his children, will be that he tried to do his best; that he sometimes failed, but that he tried even harder the next time. The whole of his life is unknown to us, but known by the God he believed in. It is our family’s prayer that the man God knew and created him to be, is the man God welcomed into His kingdom on August 21, 2023 because despite everything, Freddie deserved that!
Freddie leaves to mourn his death and forever honor his memory his parents Beverly and Freddie Walker, Sr.; sister Thea Martine Walker; 3 daughters: Alishia Kiss, Janessa Armstrong, and Tatiana Weekly; 3 granddaughters: Aureja Sun, Alyssa, Latasha; 3 grandsons: Ayden, Jordan and Lashawn, as well as many other family and friends.
A wake for Frederick will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112, followed by a memorial service at 2:30 PM.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cummingsanddavisfh.com for the Walker family.
