

Howard Taylor Jr. also known as Taylor, Bubba or Trouble, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away the morning of March 30, 2025. He was born September 3, 1927 to Coleen Veal and Howard Taylor Sr in Ridgewood, South Carolina.
He was a devoted man of faith and an avid outdoorsman. Over the years, he was an active member of several church communities, where he found friendship, purpose, and spiritual connection. He especially cherished time spent hunting and fishing, often in the company of his good friend Jerome Williams. Those quiet, shared moments in nature were some of his favorites — full of laughter, reflection, and the simple joys of companionship. Howard was also an avid bricklayer which he built most of Cleveland and surrounding areas before he retired.
He is survived by his longtime partner, Barbara of 49 years and his children and stepchildren Darseal, Elizabeth, Anthony, Coleen, Taesha, Adrian, George and Christopher. He leaves behind a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Howard was preceded in death by his mother Coleen and father Howard Sr., as well as his siblings Ella (Betty), Timothy, Margaret (Dute), Patricia, Charles and Deborah.
A graveside service for Howard will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Cleveland Memorial Gardens, 4324 Green Rd, Highland Hills, OH.
