He was born on August 28, 1957 to Mary and Marvin Galvin.
Devoted father to James McCraw. Loving brother to Brian (Velma) Galvin (deceased), Patricia (Ronald; deceased) Smith, Denise Welch (Donald; deceased), Mary (Thomas) Hammond, Marvin Galvin (deceased), Daniel (Tina; deceased) Galvin, Evelyn (Randy) Hightower and Michael Galvin. Uncle and great Uncle to many.
Jimmy loved to laugh with family and friends and enjoyed time on his motorcycle. He honored those who served with time spent, as well as charitable donations to the Fraternal Order of Police and to VFW's.

A Memorial Mass for Jimmy with be held on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 10 am located at St. Colman's Catholic Church; 2027 W 65th St, Cleveland, OH 44102. Following Mass, Jimmy will be laid to rest at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery; 4700 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 pm on Saturday December 10, 2022 at Corrigan Craciun Family Center; 14768 Lorain Ave Cleveland, OH 44111.
