Latoya Williams, born on January 19, 1980, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Nathaniel Geter and Carlotta Y. Ferrell, embarked on her life's journey.
She pursued her education in Cleveland's public schools before moving to Laurel, MS, where she completed her high school education.
Known affectionately as 'Toy' to her loved ones, she embraced her faith in Christ from a young age and was a dedicated member of The Forgiving Church, until her passing.
Latoya was renowned for her kind heart, genuine concern for her children, family, and community, and was famous for her banana pudding and sweet treats all across Cleveland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlotta and Nathaniel, and her son Jayquon Tillman. Special aunts, Angela Coleman and Martina Ferrell.
Latoya is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Ventson, and their three children, Raquel, Brandon, and Josiah, all residing in Cleveland. Her siblings Darnell (Bryant) Lewis, Brian Geter, Nathaniel Geter, JaMae Geter, Charles Mason, Makeba Mason, Nathaniel Sawyer, and Nathan Sawyer; One sister in law Letice Williams-Arroya.
She also leaves behind a legacy through her successful sweets and treats business, named in honor of her only grandchild Ryleigh, whom she fondly referred to as Noona.
Latoya's memory will be cherished by her grandmother, Johnnie Ruth, special uncles, James (Doretha) White, Sidney (Nanette) Ferrell, and Gerald Ferrell, great-aunts, Martha Satterwhite and Cleopatra Beasley, a devoted cousin/sister, Latisha (Aaron) Jones, and her godchildren, Za'Maria, Shanell, Marquell, Dwayne, and Aaron Jr.
As the foundation of her family, Latoya placed immense value on family bonds, fostering connections across generations. Her profound impact through compassion and love will be remembered by a vast array of relatives and friends.
