LAURA MAE BOHRER, age 84, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Robert Lynch; loving mother of William (Joannie), Patricia Giermann (Ronald) and David (Andrea); step mother of Barbara Schworm (Robert), Robert A. Bohrer, Bonnie Noble (Mike) and the late Beverly Olinchic, and Diane Anderson; dear grandmother of 14; great grandmother of 13; sister of Celia Kruggel (John) and the late Charles Starr, Dale Starr, and Marcia Starr; aunt of many.
Laura was a passionate and dedicated teacher in the Cleveland School system for 47 years, leaving her imprint on so many lives. She had a joyous sense of humor and quick wit, and had a talented and creative spirit. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, crafting, woodworking, painting, baking and knitting. She was famous for her “turkey cookies” and “secret recipe” chocolate chip cookies, just ask any of the grandchildren! Laura loved her grandchildren, making sure each of them received a hand-knitted baby blanket as they entered this world. Her clarinet could be heard in the Litchfield Town Band, where she was a proud member for over 70 years. She was big fan of the Cleveland Indians, loved the sun and enjoyed so many family vacations in Florida, and a few road trips out West, as well.
