Lou was a wonderful and incredibly special human being, truly one in a million.  To us, Lou felt like part of our extended family.  He was so selfless, always putting others first, even when it was hard to do or an inconvenience to him.  There are countless examples of Lou’s generosity and kindness, so many times he helped our family during a time of need . . . even on Thanksgiving night years ago for a furnace repair!  And he did it all for us with no questions asked and usually after a full work day.  Lou lived his meaningful life by example, not words, and was a truly inspiring person, a role model for the rest of us on how to live selflessly and for others.  Every day of his special life Lou fulfilled the “Golden Rule” treating others as you would like to be treated.  Lou made this world a much better place simply by being in it and living as he did, a genuinely good and caring human being.  It’s been said “a hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tries to give back as much as possible and help people . . .”  Lou Pastrana Jr. was truly a hero to each of us and to everyone who knew him.  It was such a blessing having Lou in our lives, for that we will be forever grateful.  Lou’s entire family is in our prayers during this most difficult time.

Lou, Ana and Isaac, I just wanted to express the deep sadness and sympathy Marie and I are feeling for you guys. We’re so sorry to hear of Luis’ passing! We love you and look forward to a time in the near future when this kind of pain will be a thing of the past! (Revelation 21:3,4). I just talkedto Lou and told how my father just passed last week I'm so sorry he was a great man RIP LOU

The best way to describe Lou was he was everyone's best friend.  He was always there for you whenever you needed it, no questions asked.  I'm so fortunate to have shared so many good times and wonderful memories with such a genuine and loyal friend.  Our trips to Columbus for Buckeye games and our yearly March Madness marathon gatherings for the last 15+ years will never be the same without you my friend.  My deepest condolences to his family, his brother Isaac and all his friends and those who he left a lasting impression on in his time here.  You will never be forgotten and I will miss you tremendously buddy.

Oh Sweet Lou! I have many memories of your warm smile...and as a Ghostbuster with a mullet in OU for Halloween! The Fox and Hound for March Madness, and other parties. You were one of the good guys, a kind friend to so many. I am praying for your Family, that they may find peace during this incredibly difficult time. Until we meet again, my friend....

We can’t find words to let you know how we feel. He was a beautiful person and love by everyone. We know Jehovah will always be with you and help you get through each day. We love you very much.

I was lucky to call Lou a friend for the last 3 years. I had hoped we would have many more together and I can’t believe I won’t hear his laugh again. Lou, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and genuine friendship. I will never forget you. 

This picture is the last of many.  Every time I was around Luisito & Isaac they knew I wanted my picture with each one by my side. I’m so happy I have these and many more memories and stories to make me smile when I think of you. 💗

Hey Luis! I met you as a 6th grader at Whitney Young Middle School, we were the first group of 6th graders there. You had the hair of a teen heartthrob at 12. I can remember how smart you were, your smile and how everyone was a friend. A quiet guy but once you warmed up, a real friend. Rest easy, friend. 

Son this was not how things were suppose to be. I hold onto the great memories we shared together, family gatherings will never be the same. I miss you and love you, until we meet again. John 5:28,29.

I love you Lou and will miss you dearly. You will always be my brother and someone I will think of ever day. Till we meet again 💜
