Morris Knight Jr.

Morris Knight Jr. was born September 9, 1956 to the parents of Morris Knight Sr. and Katie M. Knight. Later his sister Geneva Knight was born from this matrimony.

My brother Morris Knight Jr. was kind, generous and humorous. He enjoyed movies, music, writing poems, lyrics, watching basketball games, going to the gym, studying the bible which he became well-versed. (II Timothy 2:15)

During high school years Morris attended The Cleveland Public School system East Technical High where he majored in machine shop later graduated with a high school diploma. For 46 years Morris Jr. was employed at The Cleveland Clinic Hospital. There he was given the nickname "Mo" by his fellow coworkers and referred to as beloved by his supervisor. (smile) My beloved brother's plan was to retire in February 2024 unfortunately, he passed in January 2024.

As a teenager Morris Jr. received Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He was baptised at The New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of the Late Pastor Sizmore. Later, Morris grew in grace and knowledge or our savior Jesus Christ he was trained and served as a junior deacon until he became an adult deacon. (I Timothy 3:8-16) Being inspired by The Holy Spirit Morris bodley and lovingly witness of Christ to family, friends, coworkers and strangers which resulted to those that believed. A soul winner that's what my brother was. (smile) (Acts 1-8 Luke 24:46-49)

On January 3, 2024 Morris Knight Jr unexpectedly left this life at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital he will sorely be missed by family, friends, and coworkers preceded in death Father Morris Knight Sr. and Mother Katie M. Knight. He leaves to cherish his memory Sister Geneva Knight, Niece Nicole S. Smith, Nephew David S. Smith, cousins, friends and coworkers.

A visitation for Morris will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A wake will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112. An interment will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Cleveland Memorial Gardens, 4324 Green Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44121.
