

Mozelle Reeves, lovingly called Doll by friends and relatives, was born on October 29,1926 in Alabama to the union of Louis and Bessie Taylor(nee Merriweather). She received her formal education through Lincoln elementary school and Parker High School in Birmingham Ala. Mozelle was raised in a spiritual environment, under the loving care of her mother Bessie and her beloved stepfather Alf, who considered her as his own daughter.
She accepted Christ at an early age, attending Galilee Baptist Church in Birmingham Ala, under Reverend Jackson. Mozelle was an active member of the Junior Choir: she also sang in a group called the Southland Members.
She relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1945, where she joined the Zion Hill Baptist Church under the Reverend Leonard Johnson, again becoming an active member of the choir group for many years. She was a member of the Mass Choir up until her death. Mozelle loved her church, pastor, and family.
Mozelle was a trusted employee for 44 years at F. W. Woolworth Company, until her retirement in 1985. She was a baseball sports enthusiast and a devoted Cleveland Indians fan.
Mozelle was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Boyd, and her stepfather, Alf Boyd. She leaves to cherish her memory her close friend`s Ann Mitchell, Peggy Huckaby, Kim Huckaby, Johnnie Henderson, Gloria Marshall, and plenty of other relatives and treasured friends.
