Jonathan Roberts Sr. was born November 27, 1963 in Cleveland Ohio to the proud parents of Joyce Roberts and (Julius Roberts who proceeded him in death). He confessed Christ at an early age where he attended several Churches and became a member of Faith Fundamental Baptist Church. Jonathan attended Shaw High School in East Cleveland Ohio then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he continued his life long love and career in Boxing. He became the Champ four years in a row before being honorably discharged from the Marines. He came home and worked numerous Blue Collar jobs and ended up at ARCONIC (Formerly known as ALCOA).
“Johnny”, was known for a lot of things but his comedic side was what made everybody crack up. So from the smacks on the head, the silly unthought-of nicknames he gave people, his crazy laugh and how said the word “FOOL”, he kept everyone on their toes with his humorous personality as soon as he stepped in the room.
On the 15th, day of September 2018, God called this great man home and his cherishing memories will never be forgotten. Jonathan left behind four beautiful children Dorian Roberts (Pamela Moment), Jonisha Roberts (Freda Burks), Christine Roberts and Jonathan Roberts Jr.(Christine Kieffer) Estelle Smith and Mother Joyce Roberts, Father Julius Roberts (who proceeded him in death), Sisters Sheila Roberts, Audra”Lisa”Roberts and Tierra Whitsette. He also left behind Grandmother Lola May Stephens, Aunts Evelyn Bates and Carol Johnson, and a host of Nieces Nephews, Cousins and Friends which were all near and dear to his heart. He was truly as he would say. A Champion.
