

Wilburn Harold Williams, affectionately called Junebug, was born November 22, 1931 to the late Wilbur and Annie C. Williams (Bailey) in Monroe, GA. The family moved to Cleveland, OH in 1938. Harold the oldest of three children was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Williams, and brother Coy Lewis (Catherine).
After graduation from Central Senior High School, Harold joined the US Army. After an honorable discharge from the army, Harold attended Ohio State University and, later, theUniversity of Illinois. He was in the Engineering & Construction Management Program at both institutions.
Harold was a licensed real estate broker in Ohio and Illinois. He owned and managed Midwestern Realty in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1980, he moved to Chicago, IL, where he owned and managed Communitas Realty & Investment Group. Harold was, also, a Developer and General Contractor for “South Park Place”, market rate housing in the historic Bronzeville community of Chicago.
After having a successful career in Chicago, Harold and his wife, Dyeatra, returned home to Cleveland, OH in 2002. Until his retirement in 2015, he continued in his Real Estate profession, working with Progressive Urban Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Real Estate.
While residing in Chicago, Harold was an active member of Park Manor Christian Church from 1985 to 2002. Upon his return to Cleveland, he joined St. Timothy Baptist Church and later changed membership to Emmanuel Baptist Church in 2006 where he participated in the Male Chorus and the Senior Ministry.
His volunteer activities included Cleveland Heights Meals on Wheels and Hospice of Cleveland Clinic. He was a member of the Cleveland Heights Commission on Aging.
He enjoyed winter skiing, traveling, gardening, playing cards and spending times with friends and family.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory; his devoted wife of 33 years, Dyeatra (Carter); his sons, Dawyne (Cynthia), Craig (Terri), Jacques and stepson, Micah Parker; four grandchildren, Dawyne L. II, Craig Turan Jr, Danielle Marie, and Kodi J.C.; and a great-grandchild, Herbert Eugene, and a host of family and friends.
