Myrna Rodriguez

Myrna was born on January 26, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio, the beloved daughter of Aramita Laboy and Julio Caraballo.

Myrna devoted her life to helping others. She worked as a customer support specialist, advocating for families facing housing crises and instability. Through her work with CMHA, Step Forward, and the Bellaire Puritas Development Corporation, she touched countless lives, helping families find safety, stability, and dignity during their most difficult moments.

She found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. Myrna had a deep love for baking and was known for her homemade cakes, cookies, and desserts—no family gathering ever went without something made by her hands. She was also a creative spirit who loved cross-stitching, paint-by-number art, puzzles, and crafts that filled her home with warmth and color.

Myrna was a devoted member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and a faithful Catholic, deeply devoted to the Blessed Mother. She prayed the rosary often and attended Mass whenever she was able, grounding her life in faith, prayer, and service.

Above all, Myrna was love in human form—kind, compassionate, and endlessly giving. She would give the shirt off her back to someone in need and feed others even when she had little herself. She was also a fighter, enduring many health challenges with courage, resilience, and quiet strength, always pushing forward for the people she loved.

Those left to cherish her memory include David Rodriguez (former spouse); her children, Mathew Rodriguez and Brittany Serrano; her beloved grandson, Valentino Serrano; her sister, Eneida Ramos; and her best friend, Carmen Martinez.

She is reunited in eternal rest with her parents, Aramita Laboy and Julio Caraballo, and her siblings George, Julio, Keke, Angelo, and Sonia Caraballo.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4940 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109
