

Phillip Ray Jackson, aged 74 years old. He departed this life on August 6, 2022. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 20, 1947. Phillip the son of the late William M. Jackson and the late Annie Lewis- Jackson. He attended Max Hayes and graduated from Glenville High in 1966. Then he joined the Police cadets and escorted President Nixon in 1968. He graduated with Associate Degree in law enforcement while seeking a law degree to become a lawyer. Phillip joined the Airforce and was station at Ramey AFB in Puerto Rico and Cheyenne, Wyoming from 1968 to 1972. After the Airforce he pursued a career at JNL Steel for 29 years, as motor repair man, which later became LTV Steel. Phillip was an
usher at New Direction Church 1337 Giddings Road, Cleveland OH 44103. Phillip enjoyed telling childhood stories, traveling, playing cards, gambling, dancing, fishing, reading Jet magazine and reading The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Phillip and Pamela Marie Wynn wed on July 27, 1969. Then he married Jewell Lynn Dale on March 13,
1982. Lastly he married Arsenath Cobbs-Jackson on October 27, 2007. Phillip leaves his oldest sister and brother Ruby Thomas and James Jackson. Also his twin sister Phyllis Edmonds. His late siblings are Isaiah Simmons (2018), McKinley Jackson (2008), Curtis Jackson (1995) and Dorothy Patillar (2014). Survived by his children Valerie Porter (late Harold Porter), Phillip Jackson (wife Coyrette Jackson), Ligia Todd (husband Henry Todd Jr), Omega Jackson (wife Chelsea Jackson) and Chiron Jackson. Leaves behind seven precious grandchildren Maria Hull, Halasia Porter, Phillip Jackson III, Cierra Jackson, Naomi Taylor, Nathan Taylor and Henry Todd III. Also seven great grandchildren which are Halicia Garcia, Andres Garcia, Steven Hull Jr, Julee Hawthorne, Cassie Hull, and Samuel Porter-Hawthorne and Elaine Hull. Furthermore one great, great grandchild unknown child (little girl); a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
