September 4, 1931 – June 15, 2020
Raymond B. Smith, Jr was born in St. Paul Minnesota and raised by his Grandparents. At the age of 19 he joined the United States Army where he served 20 years and retired. He lived a full and happy life he married twice in Thailand, then decided to come to Cleveland, Ohio which he loved so much. He met the Drakes which became his adopted family and life was good. Raymond stayed strong during his time of illness, then God called him home and so he went. He will be missed, now he is in God’s hands until we meet again.
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam and for a brief moment it is Glory and Beauty that belong to our world. But then it flies again and although we wish it could have stayed we feel lucky to have seen it.
