

Reginald Hodge affectionately known as "Reggie" was born July 19, 1956 to the union of Joseph C. Hodge Sr. and Emma Hodge in Cleveland, Ohio at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
He was baptized at an early age at Second Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Reggie attended Charles Dickens Elementary, Alexander Hamilton Junior High and was a 1974 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. In school he was known for his beautiful singing voice and participated in many talent show and sang at several engagements.
He attended the University of Delaware where he majored in music. He then went on to work for an Eye Glass Factory for 12 years where he assembled eyeglass frames, he also worked for Ohio Bell as a telephone operator for 18 years where he helped and spoke to thousands of people.
Reggie fathered his beloved daughter Regina Johnson in 1994, he has been blessed in 2017 with his only grandchild Khemiya Johnson.
Reggie was known for is magnetic personality, generosity toward others and his joyful approach to life.
Reggie passed away on August 17, 2024 with his beloved brother by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. Hodge Sr., and Emma Hodge. He leaves to cherish fond memories, beloved daughter Regina Johnson, granddaughter, Khemiya Johnson, brother Joseph C. Hodge Jr., sisters, Carolyn, Kathy and Brinetta Deneen Carlton and a host of relatives and many dear friends.
