Roberto Carlos Lopez Jr. Beloved son of Roberto Lopez Sr. and Jasmine Lopez. Dearest 'big brother' of Carmelo and Josiah. Loving grandson of Roberto Lopez and Eva, Enox Betancourt, Ramon Tiru and Maria Betancourt. Dearest Godson of Flor Arroyo. Cherished nephew, cousin and friend of many. Roberto was a very loving and caring son, BIG brother ,nephew, and grandson. From the time he was little, he had a light inside him that could fill a room. He was always full of laughter, jokes, and so much love. His smile was beautiful, and when he laughed, you couldn’t help but laugh with him. He had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and important. Roberto had a tender heart. He loved deeply, and he showed it in his own unique ways. He wasn’t just funny — he was thoughtful. He wasn’t just playful — he was compassionate. He cared about his family more than anything.
It’s important to say that Roberto was sometimes misunderstood. Mental illness is real. It is powerful. And at times many people fight silently every day. Roberto fought his battles in ways many of us may never fully understand. But his struggles do not define him. What defines him is his love, his laughter, his beautiful spirit, and the joy he brought into our lives.
He was a beautiful boy — inside and out.
We will remember the jokes he told, the way he smiled, the love he gave, and the moments we shared. We will carry his memory in our hearts forever. And even though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the time we had with him.
Roberto, you are loved beyond words. You will be missed beyond measure. And you will never, ever be forgotten. FOREVER 21
