Mrs. Coreno and family, I am so sorry for your loss and am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers daily. It was sincerely a privilege to meet and care for Mr. Coreno this past year. He was a bright spot in my day and never failed to have a smile for me, even if I interrupted his breakfast. He is missed even by those who only knew him briefly.

Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was a good high school friend and good guy.

Mr. Coreno was my first homeroom teacher when I came to Lincoln in 10th grade from West Tech.  All the tough guys from the school were in his homeroom in the basement cafeteria.  He could tell I didn't quite fit the type and asked me if I'd like to be his homeroom's student council representative, catapulting me into school politics. The last time I saw him at Baldwin-Wallace in the mid-1990s, he looked just a little grey, but as youthful as ever.      He made a big difference in giving us students joy just being with him at Lincoln. What a perceptive, caring and confidence-building teacher he was! May his memory be eternal!

To one of our favorite teachers. Such a nice man. A few years ago we met him at the Italian Festival, we were so happy to see him. The last time was when we were in school. Bless him and help his family to get through this sad time. We will keep you in our prayers.

I was so, so sorry to hear of Mr Coreno's passing.  Many students had many "stories" to share, during and after their driver's ed classes.  We remember hearing him laughing and talking with them, as they headed towards the car - then him looking up and making the sign of the cross before he got in himself...  He was respected and loved by many.  I'm sure you have some wonderful memories to warm your hearts.  God bless.

To Elaine and entire Coreno Family:

    I first laid eyes on Ronnie as a 7 th grader at West High when I saw him quarterback the Cowboys back in 1953 at West Tech field. He became an instant hero to me along with Jug, Jimmy Del, Dan Mason, and George Gazdick. In the halls he took the time to notice me and talk to me when I pointed him out to one of my pals. He made me feel special and I think the feeling was mutual.

    Several years ago, I became chairman of the West High Sports Reunion Committee. Ronnie was on the committee since its inception and had also served as chairman. His knowledge, advice, dependability, loyalty, support, wisdom, humor, and guidance were immeasurable and I will always be grateful to have known him. Our committee will really miss him. He is irreplaceable.
      
    I join with you in grieving the loss of this special man. He will always have a special place reserved in my heart.

Ron was one of the funniest people I ever met.I will always remember having coffee every morning at baseball camp and him telling me and my kids Delvecchio stories while they were at Ohio U together.A great friend and even better person who will be missed.Rest in peace my friend.

Dad...you were many things to many people but you were truly a father to me!

I remember him getting me out of drivers ed, it was my last class of the day and he got me out for football practice. I crack up everytime I think about it. that was in 1975 at L-W. He was a great guy and a credit to alot of kids who lived in a rough neighborhood. and the nice thing was I saw him about15 years after I graduated and as soon as i told him who I was he remembered. My condolences to his family, rest in the comfort that he was a definte plus to many at L-W.
