Ronald Gene Croxford

Ronald “Doc” Gene Croxford passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father Elton “Gene” Croxford, and Mother Doris (Duperow) Croxford; as well as brothers Randy and Raymond Croxford.

Doc loved to serve others and worked to positively impact their lives, holding the prided positions of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), police officer for the Village of Plymouth Police Department, detox specialist with Stella Maris of Cleveland, and State Tested Nursing Assistant.

Ron left behind and loved his daughter Bridgett (Croxford) Wurm, son-in-law David Wurm, and beloved grandchildren Ysabella and Kason Wurm, as well as many friends and “family” he made along his journey in life. Doc had lots of spirit and attitude; and lived and loved with all his heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home of East Cleveland on September 2, 2022 from 5pm-7pm for anyone wishing to celebrate Doc’s life. Any donations can be made to Stella Maris of Cleveland.
