Rosa... Good Morning this side of Heaven!  I am thinking of you so much today... thinking of some of the fun stuff we did and how we met each other and knowing it was a God thing - we like Jonathon & David in the word.  I am so forever grateful to call yu my Sister and now my covering on that cloud of witness.  You are the real deal, faithful, brave and unwaverering in the lifes of those you loved and birthed.  I know you are standing in the Gap for all of us.  But the your absense is forever with me too.... As I drink my coffee this morning I hear your voice - feel your love and will love you forever!  My Mom use to say those two are trouble ... yeap trouble and true friends!

Rosie its been 4 years since you left us sis and I miss you more each year. So many times I have thought about you and just wanted to talk over a cup of coffee or a laugh about something simple. I know you are watching over all of us and feel that closeness when I pray. I remember how much you taught me about my walk with the LORD and am forever greatful. Rest in Peace my Friend.

Rosa  - My Sister and Bestie!  There is not a day I do not miss you.  I find myself hearing your voice that was always filled with wisdom and love.  You are one of the most strongest Warrior Women that God made.  I know you are standing in the gap for us everyday as you watch over us and protect us.  I see you with that sword of the spirit!  My heart will always have a hole in it till we meet again right above the treetops.  I love you forever, thank you for being so much to our family and hug Daddy for me  I know yall carrying on up there.

Rosie it has been three years since GOD called you home and I miss you more each year. There have been so many times that I have thought of you and wished you were still here, but I know GOD needed you more. I have felt your presence this year with everything going on and know you are praying for all of us.  I hold close all the laughs and smiles we shared over the years.

Good Morning my sweet friend and sister.  I miss you more than words... I can only imagine that you and Mommy are taking turns preaching  and cooking for the family.  Hug everyone for me and know that my life is not the same without you but it is better because God gave me you as a true friend/sister.  I will watch over yours and you watch over mine.
 

Rosie I thought of you so much today, just miss the little things we would talk about. I can't even imagine what you would be saying about all of this craziness with the election in 2020. Sis I know you are looking down on us and praying for us more than ever.  I trust you are in Gods every loving care. 

Michael, Madi and Sarita  you had such an awesome mother and she was such an wonderful friend to me and all her friends. I miss you sis.

I can’t believe it’s been a year my friend! I think of you often and I can still hear your voice especially when you got fired up! When it was election time I could hear you talking politics and I would smile imagining the things you would say! I could go on and on! I know you are at peace and free from pain . I miss you so much!

I miss you more than the stars.  I am selfish enough to say I need you more than you ever needed me.  Today I honor you - such an amazing Woman of God and a Fighter for justice in every-way! Just wanted to say that I miss you, Rosa! I can’t believe that you are gone! I had such a good time working with you ! You made everything lively and fun! 

I know that you are smiling down on all of your loved ones! You were a true believer in Christ. The only place that you can be is in Heaven! 

I knew Rosa for more than 40 years, but unfortunately we lost touch after I quit working. She got me out of a ticket when I ran a stop sign coming back from Parmatown when I was 17.   Even the policemen couldn’t resist her!
Rosa was truly an angel on earth and it hurts my heart that God called her home so soon. I know she will be greatly missed by so very many. Continued prayers for all. 🙏❤️

Cuando regreso pedí de nuevo cita con Ella y hablamos de muchas cosas y me dijo esta terapia nos ayudo mucho mutuamente. Ella era super especial en su forma de ser y de ayudar a los demas. Hello I am Diana and I had the honor of being friends with Rosa.  I got to know Rosa through a training session at work.  I knew God had brought us together.  Rosa had a heart of gold.  She was so trusting, caring and loving.  Rosa was   a great counselor, a loving mother,  and grandmother, and  very devoted to God.  If I had a bad day, Rosa prayed with me and I listened and was blown away by her words.  I said, “How do you do this Rosa?”  She said, “I open my mouth and God speaks.”   Words cannot express the depth of Rosa Nance.  But it was seen  today through her children who love and honor her.  The words they spoke were heartfelt.  They made this celebration of her life so beautiful, unique, and  powerful.  I know Rosa  was proud and smiling from Heaven.  And she probably threw her head back laughing with joy to see  her grandchildren who came all  the way from Alaska.  Garrett I don’t know how you did it.  My dear Rosa I want to thank you for being my friend.  I love you and will miss you dearly.  I will carry  you in my heart forever.  

Rosa is one of my dearest friends. Passionate, intelligent, and determined are among things I admire about her. She was always so proud of her kids and grand babies and I heard many stories about everyone. Her love of family and Puerto Rico will stay with me always as I remember all the nights we laughed and talked. She let me stay with her on weekends we had class at Case and she became more like a sister then friend. I know where Rosa went and I’m sure she’s earned her wings. I can still hear her laugh and see her beautiful smile. I love you sister in Christ and will take you with me wherever I go.

I remember when I use to come over and me and Carmen would get in to your stuff and you would tell on us and get us in trouble and we would run upstairs to mama Tomasa and hide I will miss you say hi to Carmen and Bienbenido for means my mom 

Had the honor of working with dear Rosa. She was a truly beautiful person. 

Rosa and I met when we were both young and working part time for the Kids Hotline. She always worked hard to advocate for the kids and families she worked with, often being their voice in a society that often forgot about them. 

She has been my friend and like a sister for over 30 years. Rosa loved the Lord with all of her Heart and Soul.  She loved her family just as much. She taught me how to have a closer relationship with the Lord and reminded me that we needed to pray all the time. She was my prayer partner, my sister and my friend. I will miss the times we shared in prayer, the laughter we had about just the everyday things that made us happy, and most of all politics. 

Rest in Peace My Friend, I know you are in Gods Everlasting Care. 



Larger-than-life warrior, boricua.  You faced challenges with that big smile. Dear colleague and friend, you will never be forgotten. 


Rosa and I worked together at Beech Brook. We spent a lot of time talking about work and family and the struggles and joys with both. Many of our lunch hours (or 2) were spent riding and talking, visiting her old neighborhood, or just sitting in the car eating. I remember one time we were driving and reached Lander Circle (near the office). She wondered how many people just spent time driving aimlessly around that circle. Since I was driving, I decided to do just that! We probably drove around the circle at least 4 times and laughed so hard that I had to stop. What a joy she was! She will be missed. 

Rosa and I started working at The Nord Center on the same week together.  She always had such a heart for the people she worked with there. It was hard work, but we kept one another sane! So sorry for your loss. May God comfort you. I know your mother had a strong faith and will  meet you on the other side someday.  

I met Rosa at CCDCFS years ago.  She was knowledgeable helpful and a pleasure to work with.  My condolences go out to her family during this difficult time. Praying that God will comfort and strengthen you day after day.
