EGAN, CHRISTINE A. Christine A. Egan, age 60, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012m surrounded by her family at CT Hospice, in Branfordm Ct. Beloved wife of Russell W. Egan Jr, Christine was born in Teaneck, NJ on March 16, 1951 to the late James and Victoria (Giantonio) Walsh. Christine and Russ moved to Clinton in 1974. She was employed at Bausch Advanced Technology in Clinton for 3 years and worked in customer service at Evergreen Financial Services in Clinton. And for 6 years Christine worked for Saybrook Office Equipment in Old Saybrook. Christine was a true New York Yankee, and New York Giants fan. She will be remembered as the mother hen, always caring about everyone, but most of all she cherished her family. Clinton has lost a good friend. Besides her husband of 30 years, she is survived by her son Richard J. Dass, and his wife Sara of East Hartford, a daughter, Colleen Comeau of Newington, and her sister Doreen Driskill of Holland Mass. She is also survived by one grandchild Hannah. Christine is pre-deceased by her two brothers, Patrick and James Walsh. Family and friends are invited to the Swan Funeral Home, 80 E Main St.m Clinton, Friday, February 17, from 6 to 9p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 18, at 11am at St Mary Church of the Visitation, Grove St., Clinton.
