Donna (Esposito) Koelle, 75, of Clinton, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on February 28, 2024. She was born July 24, 1948 in New Haven, CT, to the late Angelina and Mark Esposito. After her father’s passing when she was young, her mother remarried to Peter Testa. Donna is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Koelle, sister Peggy Esposito, sons Christopher (Laura) and Mark, grandchildren Kaylene, Nicholas, Jacob, Alexander, and Adam, and her many nieces and nephews.
Opinionated and stubborn, Donna was a force to be reckoned with. She loved with all her heart and did everything passionately. She enjoyed traveling, visiting Alaska, Australia, and many more places. She was an avid reader and adored sharing her love for Stephen King stories with her granddaughter. Donna was always there for her grandchildren, taking them to school and attending all their extracurricular events. She was always there for her family, offering support to her sons and grandchildren whenever it was needed. This past summer, Donna and Charlie spent multiple weekends helping with painting her son’s new home in West Haven, where some happy memories were made before her passing. Donna was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed, but her memories will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
The family greatly appreciates your support during this difficult time. A celebratory mass will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 54 Grove Street, Clinton, CT, followed by a reception in the church hall.
