Edward John Holmes Jr.

Ed was born on July 25, 1950 in Meriden, CT and was the beloved son of Edward John Holmes Sr and Ann Marie Holmes . Ed was predeceased by his son Wesley Edward Holmes, sister, Judy Anne and her husband Joel Lawrence Choiniere.

Ed is survived by the love of his life, Mary Kay Albert of Ivoryton, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, his niece Karen Lee, (Richard) Greenbacker, and his nephew Brian Choiniere and their families.

Ed worked At Jarvis Products in Middletown Ct, for over three decades, and was a machinist by trade. He was an avid hunter , fisherman, and many times could be found riding around in a golf cart in the woods of Canada. He also had a great love for golf and travel. A memorial service will be on January 17, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm at the Winthrop Baptist Church, 444 Winthrop Road, Deep River, CT. A reception will follow at Ed’s home at 29 Pond Meadow Road, Ivoryton, CT.
