Edward served with pride and honor in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. He went on to found “The Chowder Pot” restaurant in Madison. Later, Edward was a foreman for the town of Clinton, Public Works Department.
Besides his wife, Pamela, Edward is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Bartlett, and her husband Timothy of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Brandi Maenza, Everett Banning, and Brandon Banning and many nieces and nephews. Edward was pre-deceased by his sister, Barbara and brothers, Herman and John.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 18 from 11:00 AM to 12 PM at the Swan Funeral Home 80 East Main St., Clinton, CT followed by a burial with full military honors at The State Veteran’s Cemetery in Middletown.
